FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR SEVEN SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM NORWAY

Cultural Anthropology Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University held a farewell ceremony (14/12/2022) for seven college students who have participated in a series of realizations of international cooperation between Go Study and Udayana University.


The seven college students came from Norway to take part in a social anthropology course program conducted by the Cultural Anthropology Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.


Lecturers in social anthropology are taught by lecturers, including: 1) Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Anom Kumbara, M.A. 2) Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D. 3) Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt. 4) Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Sedeng, M.Hum. 5) Dr. I Made Bayu Ariwangsa S.S., M.Par., M.Rech. and 6) Dr. Purwadi Soeriadiredja, M.Hum.


Apart from lectures in the classroom, the Norway college students also carried out field studies to several areas in Bali for three days. First day (19/11/2022): Trunyan Village, Penglipuran Village, and Puri Lukisan Ratna Wartha Museum. Second day (25/11/2022): Barong Dance at Batu Bulan. Day Three (04/12/2022): Besakih Temple, Tirta Gangga Park, Puri Agung Karangasem, and Tenganan Village.


The farewell ceremony was attended by the Head of Go Study, Head of the Social Anthropology Program (Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D.), Coordinator of the Cultural Anthropology Study Program (Aliffiati, S.S., M.Si.), Chief Executive (Ida Bagus Oka Wedasantara, S.Sos., M.Si.), lecture supervisors, seven college students from Norway, and college students of Cultural Anthropology Study Program.


In addition to handing over academic transcripts to college students from Norway, the farewell ceremony also presented Balinese and NTT dances performed by college students of Cultural Anthropology Study Program, as well as presentations by lecturers and college students from Norway. (ows)
