Social Anthropology Program of FIB Unud Welcomes 10 Norwegian Students for the Odd Semester 2026/2027 (Autumn 2026)
DENPASAR – The Social Anthropology
Program, Faculty of Humanity, Udayana University (FIB Unud), organized an
orientation and matriculation session on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to welcome
10 students from Norway joining the 2026/2027 Odd Semester (Autumn 2026).
Conducted in collaboration with GoStudy, this program facilitates the
participants in undertaking academic activities for one semester at Udayana
University.
Held in Room 28 on the 3rd Floor of the
Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Building, FIB Unud, the event aimed to introduce
the academic environment, learning system, and campus life to the incoming
students. Through this orientation, participants are expected to adapt well to
their new learning environment while preparing themselves to attend a series of
short courses during their stay in Bali.
The event was officially opened by the
Dean of the Faculty of Humanity, Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa,
S.S., M.A., Ph.D. In the subsequent session, the students received
matriculation briefings covering the academic system, learning mechanisms, and
academic culture they will experience throughout the program at Udayana
University.
To support their studies over the
upcoming semester, the students were also provided with learning material
books. The orientation series then continued with a campus tour to introduce
various academic facilities available within the Faculty of Humanity. This
on-site introduction was designed to help participants understand the campus
layout and optimally utilize academic facilities and resources during the
program.
Through this orientation and matriculation program, the Social Anthropology Program of FIB Unud hopes that the Norwegian students can smoothly complete their short-term study at Udayana University. Beyond enriching their academic knowledge, this program also provides an opportunity for participants to engage closely with the local community and Balinese culture, allowing them to gain a meaningful academic and cross-cultural experience during their time in Indonesia.
