KRAMA MENGAJAR 2023

Peka Sosial II: Krama Mengajar 2023 this time was held on August 14-15, 2023 and was located at SDN 8 Peguyangan, Denpasar. The activity organized by the Udayana Anthropology Student Association (KRAMA) Public Relations Division not only involves the internal part of KRAMA itself, but involves students outside KRAMA as well as the Yayasan Pembangunan Citra Insan Indonesia IRI YPCII.

The objectives of this PEKA SOSIAL II: KRAMA MENGAJAR activity include:

1.     Fostering the nature and attitude of mutual care and help;

2.     Provide learning and exchange of knowledge between students and children in elementary schools;

3.     Providing a new learning atmosphere for children by inviting children to play while learning; and

4.     Improve basic skills for future social life.

This event is carried out with the concept of learning, playing and direct practice (learning by doing). This event will be filled with various activities, namely the provision of material by student teachers, simple real practice of the material that has been taught and playing simple things interspersed with giving gifts to children as an achievement. The material presented is related to basic manners, bullying, sex education, personal hygiene with good and correct hand washing practices, and also material about waste management and sorting.

"Our impression of the younger siblings of students who carry out their programs at our school is in my opinion very good. The programs that you implement are quite good and educate our students. You are also active and polite in communicating with us from the school, starting from the beginning you delivered the program until it was well implemented," said Mr. Ketut Gede Artayasa, S.Pd., as the principal of SDN 8 Peguyangan, Denpasar.

Mr. Gede Budarsa, S.Sos., M.Si., as a lecturer in Cultural Anthropology of Udayana who is also a lecturer in waste management material gave a good message impression during the activity, he said, "It's great to be able to share knowledge with students of SDN 8 Peguyangan. Education related to awareness of Environmental Health including waste problems should have been instilled from an early age so that they will be accustomed to wise behavior patterns in managing waste ".
