Nine participants from Norway attended the 2024 Social Anthropology Program Matriculation.

The Cultural Anthropology Study Program at Udayana University's Faculty of Cultural Sciences held a matriculation and opening ceremony for nine participants from Norway. The event aimed to provide basic material to the Social Anthropology Program participants. On February 7, 2024, the Cultural Anthropology Study Program of FIB Unud and GoStudy held an event in the Prijono Room to improve their cooperation. The event aimed to increase cooperation between the two organizations, which have been working together since 2019.

 

The Deputy Dean of FIB Unud, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum., opened the matriculation event accompanied by the Coordinator of the Cultural Anthropology Study Program, Aliffiati, S.S., M.Si. In his speech, Deputy Dean I expressed appreciation for the consistent cooperation carried out every year. He hopes that the academic program will continue to develop in both teaching and learning processes. He also hopes that future participants from other countries will be able to join. The goal is to bring the Cultural Anthropology Study Program to international activities.

 

Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D., one of the teaching staff in the Social Anthropology Program, delivered the matriculation material. The material covered an introduction to Udayana University, the Social Anthropology Program Curriculum, and the learning that participants will undertake. The participants were enthusiastic about the presentation.

 

At the end of the agenda, participants were invited to tour the FIB Unud campus located on Jalan Pulau Nias No. 13 Denpasar. They visited the main campus lobby, study rooms, the Center for Anthropology Studies, and the Lontar Unit room at Udayana University. This program aims to provide participants with a cultural learning experience (ows).
