REALIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM NORWAY CONDUCT FIELD STUDY OF SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY

Cultural Anthropology Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University conducted a field study (21/11/2019) for nine college students who have participated in a series of realizations of international cooperation between Go Study and Udayana University.


The nine college students came from Norway to take part in a social anthropology course program conducted by the Cultural Anthropology Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.


The courses held are: 1) Introduction to Social Anthropology, 2) Indonesian Culture and Language, 3) The Ethnography of Southeast Asia, 4) The Antropology of Tourism, and 5) Introduction to Writing Academic Papers.


Lecturers in social anthropology are taught by lecturers, including: 1) Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Anom Kumbara, M.A. 2) Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D. 3) Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt. 4) Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Sedeng, M.Hum. 5) Dr. Purwadi Soeriadiredja, M.Hum. and 6) Dr. Ida Bagus Gde Pujaastawa, M.A.


In addition to lectures in the classroom, the Norwegian student also carried out field studies in several areas in Bali, namely: Trunyan Village, Penglipuran Village, and Puri Lukisan Ratna Wartha Museum. (ows)
