Udayana Anthropology Students Hold Krama Mengajar, Service Activities at SDN 1 Kusamba

The Student Association of the Cultural Anthropology Study Program at Udayana University, Krama, held a community service activity entitled "Krama Teaching." This activity is a concrete expression of the students' concern for education in Indonesia, especially in Bali. Many schools have been visited through this routine activity.

On May 9, 2025, Krama Mengajar was held at SDN 1 Kusamba, involving all students from first to sixth grade. Various educational activities were held, including socializing about the importance of hand hygiene and healthy teeth, teaching students to love the environment, and playing traditional games. These activities are expected to increase elementary school students' knowledge.

Interestingly, this event also included Norwegian students from the Social Anthropology course at the Udayana Cultural Anthropology Study Program. Interacting directly with Kusamba Elementary School students and observing the education system in Bali was a valuable experience for them. All participants, including Krama students, Norwegian students, and SDN 1 Kusamba students, were enthusiastic. This activity is expected to positively impact awareness of education and hygiene from an early age, as well as enrich cross-cultural experiences for all involved. Krama Mengajar is concrete proof of Udayana anthropology students' contribution to supporting education and cultural preservation in Bali (drd).
