The Social Anthropology program is holding a graduation and farewell ceremony for 30 participants.
The Social Anthropology short course program, which was offered by GoStudy and the Cultural Anthropology Study Program at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Udayana University (FIB Unud), ended the autumn session learning series (Odd Academic Year 2025/2026). This learning series was held from September to December 2025. The graduation and farewell ceremony was held on Monday, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, FIB Unud. This event was a chance for people from Norway to say goodbye to each other. The Norwegians had spent four months studying in Bali.
The event started with a video of the Tek-tekan performance, which was a collaboration between Social Anthropology participants and Cultural Anthropology students. Then, the event opened with a Pendet dance performance from the Satyam Shivam Sundaram (SSS) Student Activity Unit (UKM). Next, the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, followed by representatives of GoStudy, gave their remarks. Then, the audience in the Hall watched a documentary video of the whole series in one semester. This included events like Sportday at the Unud Rectorate, the Tek-Tekan performance at the Unud Office of UI, shopping at Badung Market, making gebogan, field trips to Penglipura Village and Bayung Gede Village.
The most important part of the event was the graduation ceremony, which took place from 10:25 to 10:55 a.m. Four people were in charge of the ceremony:

1. The Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) who was in charge of graduation,
2. The person in charge of the Cultural Anthropology Study Program who pinned the sashes,
3. A representative from GoStudy gave out the graduation certificates.
4. A representative from the Social Anthropology Short Course Program Management said goodbye to each participant.
This closing moment symbolized the official completion of the four-year Social Anthropology program at Udayana University.
Before the event ended, one of the 30 participants gave a short speech about their valuable experience learning about Balinese culture. Then, a representative from the instructors also gave a speech about their experience mentoring them over the past few months.
The event ended with a Dayak dance performance by Cultural Anthropology students and the Joged Bumbung (Joged Bumbung). The MC gave a speech to end the program and say goodbye to the Social Anthropology program participants at Udayana University. This graduation and farewell event is expected to be a fond memory for the 30 participants before they return home. It also reinforces Udayana University's commitment to expanding international networks through future educational pathways (ria).
